About
Just for starters
I have yet to write a book, become a SQL Server MVP, make a million, gain notoriety, build an AC Cobra or restore a 1968 Corvette Stingray. But some day I will. And I will enjoy every minute of doing so.
What I am
I am a husband and a father, a fisherman, a photographer, a developer, a thinker, a twitterer, an iPhone lover, a technology window-shopper, and much more besides…
Why I am doing this
I created this site primarily to keep a record of the thoughts I have about SQL Server, a little humour and things I find interesting. Making my thoughts public means that I do more research into what I am saying and enhances my own understanding of the subject matter. I hope that you enjoy what you read, find it educational and feel compelled to get involved – comments/questions/etc.
What I do
I am a SQL Server Professional and spend my time developing Integration Services and Reporting Services Solutions. I have held a few positions in the past, all of which center on SQL Server in the financial services industry, and am currently assisting a SWIFT Service Bureau in The City of London on several internal/external projects.
